Newly registered users unable to access their profile

Thursday 25 December 2014 5:58:20 am - 1 reply

This is my first time to use the Ez Publish API, so everything is new to me. I have installed 5.90.0alpha1, from github, and am getting a feel for it, but I have encountered a problem and not sure how to fix it.

I register and activate a new user, this user can login but when trying to access the "My Profile" page I get a Symfony 403 Access Denied error message. From what I know about Symfony, the problem is related to user roles and the firewall.

I can see the user under "Guest accounts" in the admin section and I notice it has been assigned the role of "Anonymous".

How should I go about fixing this?

It appears that the "Member" role is missing. I created this role, assigned full access to the 'user' class and assigned it to the "Guest accounts" group, along with the existing Anonymous role. This allows access to the profile page. To update the question, what policies are assigned to the Member role?
