Recently upgraded MYSQL and getting a fatal error

Thursday 31 May 2012 11:49:25 am - 2 replies

I recently upgraded MYSQL on my server and I'm now getting this fatal error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_strlen() in /usr/home/neopixel/public_html/var/ezwebin_site/cache/template/compiled/quick_settings-abeb03f6d94d1916ca18b92ae42754e3.php on line 1618
Fatal error: eZ Publish did not finish its request

The execution of eZ Publish was abruptly ended, debug information can be found in the log files normally placed in var/log/*

Any ideas as to what I can do? Can I delete the cache manually?

Seems like you also upgraded php, and your now missing the multibyte support in php.

Check your distribution documentation for how to install it, they tend to sometime move things out of PHP core to serperate packages.

Yes my hosts did re-install php as well.

I've asked them to install the multi byte support.
