Root node missing after migration

Root node missing after migration

Thursday 19 July 2012 9:49:09 am - 2 replies

Yesterday I migrated my eZ Publish (2012.5) site to a new server, but my content's root node is missing.
In admin_site, the content tab is not here, like if node with node_id "2" is deleted, and on the user site I get the error : "Object is not available".
In the ezcontentobject_tree table of the database, I can see my content's root node, but it doesn't work : (
There are several differences between my both servers (which are only for dev) :

  • Old Server : Windows XP x86, PHP 5.3.8, Apache 2.2.21, MySQL 5.5.16
  • New one : Windows 7 x64, PHP 5.3.13, Apache 2.2.22, MySQL 5.5.24

I changed site.ini files, for my both siteacess (+ override one), and image.ini containing the path to Imagemagick executable. Did i forget something ?

I don't understand what happens..

Curl wasn't correctly installed, but even now, content's root node is still missing.. I also checked ini files' encoding and database's encoding.
I don't understand if the problem comes from eZ Configuration, system environment or something else, ...

Problem solved !
The current user of the system didn't have permission to write into cache directory. Permission issues don't occur only on linux : )
