Syntax change in YAML files between 5.3 and 5.4

Wednesday 03 December 2014 2:52:23 pm - 3 replies

I noticed a syntax change in the YAML configuration files; All values are now double-quoted.

For instance, with EzPublish5.3 :

 debug: %kernel.debug%

And now with EzPublish 5.4 :

 debug: "%kernel.debug%"

Should I apply this syntax change to my installatation ?

It is a simple precaution. It is kind of part of our best practices, and can help in case of exotic strings.
