different style for each page?

Hi,

I'm newbie here, I want to create different style for each page. How do I do that?

I want this page cars/ and other pages belong to cars/n-other-pages... has different logo, menu style (http://mysite.com/index.php/cars/). Other pages with other slug (http://mysite.com/index.php/others/...) are normal. How do I do that?

Thank you

1. Using override.ini, you can tell eZ to use a different pagelayout template for a specific content class or section. http://doc.ez.no/eZ-Publish/Techn...mplates/The-template-override-system

Then, I would recommend making the two top-level pagelayouts just 3empty containers3 which include other templates where most of the code is. This way you will avoid duplicating most of the code wheich is identical between the two pages.

2. alternative option: look at variables available in pagelayout and use IF conditions: http://doc.ez.no/eZ-Publish/Techn...e-pagelayout/Variables-in-pagelayout

If the HTML will be the same, you may be able to use the variables mentioned by Gaetano to assign an additional class and use CSS to modify the presentation.
