Extra_info is always showing. How to hide it?

Hi all, after upgrading to Community Project 4.5 beta I have two problems:

1. I can't insert links by browsing to a node: "Using scripts in links is not allowed, 'javascript:mctmp(0);' has been removed".

2. I have created a full view override for folder.tpl to show infoboxes in the extra_info part. However, when I set:

{set scope=global persistent_variable=hash('left_menu', true(),                                           'extra_menu', true())   'show_path', true())   }

The extra_info is always shown, even when there are no infoboxes. I've tried creating a fetch for infoboxes with and {if} statement but that did not work.

I hope you can help me with this!

Thanks for your time,

Maarten

1. Seems like a ezoe bug to me. Is there anything about this in the issue tracker?

2. You should use {ezpagedata_set( 'var', $val )} for the persistent variable, since {set} will override the value when used multiple times in a single execution.

Hello Sander,

Thanks for the reply! Sorry to ask, but could you perhaps provide an example for the fetch function?

I'm having trouble constructing it. Tried multiple fetches to see if the folder contains infoboxes to set extra_menu to true but they all yield very strange results...

An example would be very much appreciated!

Thanks again,

Maarten

I don't think the problem is the fetch function. When you use the default infoboxes that come with ezwebin you should not have to add a fetch function for infoboxes in your full template. In fact, that won't even work since ezpagedata expects a template name or boolean value.

Do you maybe have [MenuContentSettings] ExtraMenuSubItemsCheck=disabled in menu.ini? Try settings that to enabled. It will then only show the extrainfo column when there are infoboxes.

Hi Sander,

Indeed I had ExtraMenuSubItemsCheck set to disabled. Enabled it and it works like a charm now. Excellent!

Thanks again,

Maarten

Body:Using scripts in links is not allowed, 'javascript:mctmp(0);' has been removed";

Verion 4.5 beta and yeah, sometime I face the same issue when inserting any kind of link inside the online editor.

I said sometime because it doesn't occur all the times.

By doing some experiments I, at first, got to the conclusion that that was due to the fact that the selected text contained an empty space after it, but in fact I am not so sure.

It seems also to bother the special chars like @...

mmmhm!
