eZ Components forum

As eZ Components make it more and more into eZ Publish, I expect an increasing amount of eZC-related issues to be discussed in the eZ forum. Shouldn't re-opening of eZ Components forum be reconsidered?

Hi Piotrek,

I raised that topic long time ago and It was decided by the eZ Components core development team to do not use forum as communication channel. The preferred way is eZ Components mailing list and that one is followed by eZ Components core developers.

Hello Ɓukasz,

Yes, I am aware of that as I did ask the same question and didn't push anymore blunk.gif Emoticon Just wondering if putting more and more of eZC into eZP won't change the reality a bit...

Django users have a site where they can share reuseable blocks of code or classes, they call those "snippets":

I don't know if eZ Publish users would need it.

It would certainly be usefull to have an "eZ Components Snippets" forum, because eZ Components is pretty low level and users usually end doing reuseable codes.

It would be cool to have a place to share snippets of code.

This would be even more valuable than Django snippets because new versions of eZ Components won't break compatibility ...
What do you think?

Agree with Piotrek on this one - giving more visibility / easier access into the ezc can only be a good thing!
