Conclusion

The activity of template-block cache files, linked to declarations of cache-blocks, is a critical operation on an eZ Publish project. On high traffic websites, sometimes it only takes a single line of badly written, or inappropriate, declaration for the very stability of the platform to be compromised. Low-level understanding of the difficult to decipher mechanism is the only way to consider the impact of each cache-block directive.
