noveniniupdate

Allows "environment switching". Very useful when INI settings are different between, for example, your dev server and your production server.

Hi.

We use this extension for our projects and are very happy indeed. However we do have an issue related to the file image.ini. It seems this file is not repected somehow , therefore the actual reference to image magick is not updated correctly on our production server when we run the update via comand line.

The file image.ini in settings/* is updated (timestamp indicated this), but the value is not changed according to the xml source.

Could you test and check if you are able to reproduce this bug?

Thanks.

Lars

Hi Lars

Actually, this is not a bug... This is due to the fact that there are several settings in eZ Publish that cannot be modified programmatically. Those are listed in site.ini / [eZINISettings].ReadonlySettingList.

And of course image.ini/ImageMagick/ExecutablePath is one of those blunk.gif Emoticon

It happened for me too and the solution I found was to be production compliant in my dev environment regarding this kind of settings by making a symlink (/opt/local/bin => /usr/bin)

mercihappy.gif Emoticon

That could be a viable solution. Just was not aware that there are limitations as to which setting that may be altered.

First time extension user and I just tried to install on 2011.12 and it doesn't appear to work, something I did or is this version not yet supported?

Thanks

You're absolutely right !

This is a mistake, those regional settings should not be present. I just copied/pasted and forgot them...

I just fixed this problem in trunk, revision 23
